Our Story

Excellence Billiards NZL was founded in 2005 by Matt Edwards, a multiple National and Oceania Champion widely regarded as one of New Zealand's greatest pool players. Built from a deep passion for cue sports, the company was created with a commitment to quality products and exceptional service. It remains a reflection of pursuing both passion and long-term vision.

In 2010, women's professional pool player Molrudee Kasemchaiyan joined the business. She was one of New Zealand's most accomplished players, winning more than 30 women's National and Oceania titles, and played a key role in the company’s growth.

As the company grew, the product range expanded beyond pool and billiards to include table tennis, foosball, darts, air hockey, shuffleboard, poker, home theatre seating, furniture, pub tables, bars, accessories, and more.

Today, Excellence Billiards NZL continues to grow and is recognised as one of New Zealand's leading game room suppliers, committed to providing quality products and reliable service to customers nationwide.
