Our Story

Excellence Billiards NZL was founded in 2005, by multiple National Pool Champion Matt Edwards.

Driven by his passion for cue-sports he established the company, with the goal to offer quality products and exceptional services. The company is a by-product of following your passion and vision.

In 2010, women’s professional pool player and German National 8-Ball Champion, Molrudee Kasemchaiyanan joined Excellence Billiards. With the same vision and dedication the company reached new heights. Together Matt & Molrudee both have the passion to not only provide quality products but also contribute to cue-sports through sponsorship and promotion along with coaching and development programmes for both junior and senior players. Actively involved in New Zealand Pool, Matt is an executive member of the NZPA (New Zealand Pool Association). “We love what we do that is why we strive for Excellence” As well as both working for the company, Matt and Molrudee continue to compete on a professional level, travelling regularly to represent New Zealand in tournaments around the world.

Along with pool/billiard supplies the company has now moved into other game room products including table tennis, foosball, darts, air hockey, shuffle board, poker, furniture, home theatre seating, pub tables, bars, accessories and much more.

Excellence Billiards NZL has now grown to be New Zealand’s leading game room supplier.
